I saw the moon

So, this isn't exactly something Dylan said as much as something he did, that happens to run in the family... well, the male side anyways... haha...

Valentine's night we went out to dinner with my mom and Nana, coming out of Wingers Dylan pulled his pants down and MOONED ME!!  Little beast!!  after the initial laughter, then subsequent "don't you do that again!" my mom was on the phone with my brother Kevin, who is famous for being the "moon boy" in our family, so I take the phone and tell him that his nephew just proved he's got Jewkes boy blood running through him and Kev's direct response was "who'd he moon?!"  I just LOVE that he knew exactly what Dylan did from that one statement!  Oh boy, this is going to be a fun one!!  =)

Stinkers vs Farts

From the backseat of the car today:

"Mom, I don't let stinkers anymore, they're all farts now, how come I'm not letting stinkers anymore?"

How do I answer that one?  I wonder what he thinks the difference is, he didn't elaborate when I told him I thought they were the same thing.  And, coming from him, they both stink!

Does that blow your head off?

So Dylan has confused the saying "it'll blow your mind".

He came to me with his Transformers, deformed and put back together using pieces from each other, telling me how cool they looked and shouts "does it blow your head off mom?!!"  Yup, blows my head right off... lol!

Beauty Sleep

The other morning....

Dylan wakes up before me, he tells Papa that he's going to wake me up, Papa tells him "Let your mom sleep, she needs her beauty sleep."  Dylan tells Papa "Oh Papa, she never wakes up pretty!"

BYU Stinks your shoes!

Yes, Dylan sang that in the checkout line at Walmart tonight!  It was so funny, and the more I tried not to laugh, the more I did, and others around us... bahahahaha!!

Time to catch up

Wow, I thought I'd be a lot better than this at this!! 

Dylan went to his first Utes game this past weeked, we had a blast!  After tailgating with my brother for a good 5 hours before kickoff he was ready to take a nap when we got to our seats!  The entire 1st half of the game he just wanted to cuddle in my lap.  After having a snowcone at half time he spirited right up, he was the entertainment for a while, doing the shake-n-bake when they showed it on the screen (well, making up his own), then pretending he couldn't do the U with his fingers to the people behind us.  He really ended up having a lot of fun :)

This weekend we are going to head to Lagoon, so I'm sure there will be more fun things to blog about.

Last weekend we were driving home from visiting my sister's family and out of nowhere Dylan pipes up "Mom, when we get home we should find some pigs and cut off their feet" 
"WHAT?!!" 
Well, I guess he went to R&A Market in Helper a few days before that and Papa showed him the jar of pickled pigs feet.  Guess Dyl thinks that cutting off pigs feet will be a fun excursion for us! Ewwww!!!
